USA College Sports, Inc. has established the FCS Senior All-Star Game. The inaugural event will take place on January 16, 2012, the national holiday honoring the memory of Martin Luther King. It will be playef at the conclusion of the FCS playoffs in compliance with NCAA rules and regulationa. Many prominent members of FCS conferences and teams have accepted positions on the Football Executive Board of USA College Sports, Inc.

Players must be seniors with remaining eligibility as of January 8, 2012 and must meet at least one of the following criteria
1. USA College Football Network All-American
2. The Sports Network All-American
3. Phil Steele's FCS All-American
4, Conference All-Star
5, USACFN/TSN national or regional POW
6. Nominated by head coach or sports information director

Inaugural FCS All-Star Game set for MLK national holiday
Long overdue, national recognition of NCAA Division I-AA football, its past and present, will be the focus of the NCAA FCS All-Star Event that will take place over the MLK national holiday weekend. The highlight will be on Monday (January 16), when the Inaugural FCS All-Star game will be contested at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex as the nightcap of a unique doubleheader, following the Don Hansen D-III All-Star Bowl.
On Saturday evening (January 14) the recipient of the FCS Coaching Legend Award will be honored at the FCS All-Star Awards Banquet, In addition awards will be presented to the FCS Conference Commissioner, FCS Assistant Coaches for Offense and Defense, FCS Grad Assistant Coaches and FCS Sports Information Director of the Year.
Dennis Wilson, President of USA College Sports, Inc., who is serving his 21st term as President of the Metropolitan NY Football Writers Association, is the Executive Director of the event. Phil Sokol, Director of Operations for The Sports Network, Dean Kenefick, Associate Athletic Director of Communications for Villanova University and Director of the Philadelphia College Football Writers Association, Scott Meyer, Assistant Commissioner of the Colonial Athletic Association, and Kurt Svoboda, Assistant Director of Athletics at Harvard University and Director of the New England Football Writers Association are members of the Executive Board of USA College Sports, Inc.
Providing guidance and direction to insure the success of this project is an FCS Executive Board that includes either a commissioner, assistance commissioner or media relaations director from all 14 FCS conferences as well as several head coaches, including Delaware's K.C. Keeler who has guided the Blue Hens to a national championship.

Application Process
FCS All-Star Event
Players are required to submit a stipend of Four Hundred Dollars ($400) with their applications to assist in covering the operating expenses of the four-day event. It is urged that all players solicit a one-eight (1/8) page sponsor advertisement to be published in the event's souvenir program plus the event web site at a fee of Four Hundred Dollars ($400). The stipend is to be payable to USA College Sports, Inc, and mailed with the media acceptance form to: P.O. Box 477, Roseland, NJ 07068

FCS Weekly Honors expanded
Dennis Wilson, President of USA College Sports, Inc. and Phil Sokol, Director of Operations for The Sports Network, announce the creation of a second tier of weekly awards for the FCS. The Sports Network will continue to select national Players of the Week for Offense, Defense, Special Teams and Rookies. USA College Football Network will supplement the accolades by naming East and West Region weekly honorees for outstanding quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, offensive and defensive linemen, linebackers, defensive backs, special teams and rookies as well as Coach. There will be no duplication of awards and all seniors chosen in both tiers are eligible to play in the FCS All-Star Game.
